The family chat went nuclear. The coworker made it weird. Your friend brought a plus-one and three years of unresolved history. Tell us what happened.

Before you hit send

Give us the story, not somebody's Social Security number.

  • 01Tell it in your own voice.
Funny, messy, awkward, unbelievable. Write it the way you would tell a friend.
  • 02Protect private people.
Use first names, initials, nicknames, or no names at all. Leave out addresses, phone numbers and other sensitive details.
  • 03Keep it truthful.
Do not submit something you know is false or invent accusations about a real person.
  • 04Publication is not automatic.
Submissions may be shortened, edited for clarity, anonymized, or not published at all.
This is not an emergency or crisis form. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource instead of submitting a story here.
